I'm Kathy Bennett and I'm askin' the questions and you're going to give me some answers.  Don't even think about not telling the truth.  This isn't my first rodeo.
 
You see that big glass window over there?  There are readers behind that glass.  They're gonna judge you on your answers and how truthful you are here in the Interrogation Room.  Don't let your readers down.  Now, lets get to it...
 
 
State your name: Christopher J. Lynch
 
Tell me about your last interaction with a police officer. What did you think about it?

My last interaction was actually at a retirement party for two female officers leaving our local department.  One of the officers was a narcotics detective, and the other was a CSI investigator. There was a lot of testosterone and firepower in the room and it was a lot of fun for a civilian such as myself. The great thing was, the CSI officer wants to start writing and I have actually started sharing my experience and connections with her. She also loved my video trailer and purchased my novel “One Eyed Jack.” So I guess you could say that it doesn’t get any better than that as far as having interaction with a police officer.

Tell me about the last time you were afraid.

I am a leader in a local hiking group and had organized a special program for blind hikers. With volunteers from my group, we trained and led 9 hikers for four months with a goal of climbing Mount Baldy, the highest point in LA County at 10,064 ft, and the third highest peak in Southern California. The day of big hike, we had to take all of them one at a time across a very narrow section of the trail.  It is only a foot wide at some spots and there is a 75 ft, drop on one side.
